Have you considered the costs involved in lowering CO2 emissions? Would you be willing to give up, say 30% of your material comforts, for example? Perhaps limit your offspring to no more than 1 per couple? Maybe, have a maximum of a 1 bedroom house for each couple? Perhaps limit each person's age to 70- or maybe 50 if they accidentally brought one additional CO2 exhaling human offspring onto the planet? The global ice caps have been melting for thousands of years.
